The program, a collaboration between the Center for Ecoliteracy and participating districts, comes with a toolkit of innovative and engaging marketing resources, tested and scaled recipes, and recommendations for effective professional development and student engagement. Piloted in Oakland beginning in 2013, California Thursdays now includes a network of 15 school districts from across the state.
