Objectives: Participants with discover how to prepare a variety of menu options using speed-scratch methods that provide whole grain rich entrees other than pizza to tempt students to try new foods.

Description: Discover new ways to tempt students with Italian piadas, pesto pinwheels, cheeseburger bundles, Tuscan Cones, stuffed wedges, folded strombolis and much more all made with speed scratch whole grain rich dough.

Speaker Bio:
Dr. Shirley Brown is Director of Product Training for Rich Products Corporation. She has been with Rich Products for 39 years. She has conducted hundreds of in-service seminars on baking, menu planning and nutrition education for school foodservice professionals. She has a teaching credential, is a certified ServSafe? instructor and credentialed School Nutrition Specialist.

Shirley has served on the SNA Board and numerous committees and was the first recipient of the SNA's Industry Member of the Year Award.
