Description: Districts are tasked to look for additional ways to capture students for meals. Breakfast, as being the most important meal is a great opportunity to get students focused and ready to learn. BUT how do Districts get students to participate? Breakfast in the Classroom is one of the answers.

For the 2012-13 school year, the Los Angeles Unified School District embarked on a mission to improve breakfast opportunities to its students via Breakfast in the Classroom. For that year, LAUSD implemented BIC at 288 sites (including 4 high schools and 7 middle schools), over 10,000 classrooms and feeding over 200,000 students daily, generating over $6 million in revenues. How did they do it? Come and find out and learn to implement it in your school district and reap the benefits.
