Description: This introductory session for Future Leaders will cover the topics of leadership, change, and goal setting. Attendees will learn their leadership style, strengths and areas to work on through a course activity. Gail will share her experience from Future Leaders sessions she attended at ANC.

Speaker Bio:
In July 2007, Linda began working as the Coordinator for Cal-Pro-Net, a state funded grant through San José State University that provides professional development training and courses for school food service personnel throughout the state. Presently she coordinates courses such as financial management, new director training and the annual online mandatory training.
A Registered Dietitian with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, she is active in the California Dietetic Association. She serves as Professional Development Chair for CSNA.

Gail Gramling began her service in school food service September 11, 1997 as a Substitute Food Services Assistant. And has currently been serving as a Food Services Supervisor II at North High School central kitchen for 5 years. Gail is highly committed to promoting school nutrition through community participation and activities to change the perception of school lunch professionals in the community.
Gail stays current in her field by being an active member of the California School Nutrition Association serving as President of her local chapter attending workshops, classes, seminars and is always working on ways to elevate and promote school nutrition and those who serve.
