Objectives: Participants will be provided knowledge of how to organize themselves for a procurement review and understand what auditors are looking for.
Description: Feeling anxious over your impending procurement review? The time to prepare is now. As state agencies learn more and more about how we procure our products, the reviews are becoming more and more in-depth as the years' progress. There are tools you can use now to ensure that you are prepared when the time comes. Learn from this panel who have recently completed their Procurement Review on lessons they learned and how they can help you ensure success in your inevitable review.

Speaker Bio:
Stephanie Bruce is the Director of Nutrition Services for the Palm Springs Unified School District in Palm Springs, CA. Stephanie has worked in the foodservice industry for over 30 years and in Child Nutrition for 20 years. She has been with the Palm Springs Unified School District for the past 6 years. She holds a Culinary Arts Degree from College of the Desert in Palm Desert, CA; a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management from California Polytechnic College in Pomona, CA and an M.B.A in Finance from the University of Redlands. Stephanie currently sits as the West Region Leadership Committee representative for the School Nutrition Association (SNA) and is an Instructor for both the CASBO, CBO certification program and the USC Rossier School of Business. Stephanie also participated in SNA's Ethics task force in June 2017. She has served in several positions for professional organizations and is a past President of the California School Nutrition Association
