Objectives: The participant will be able to review a Child Nutrition (CN) label or product formulation statement to determine if it contains all of the requirement information and it is acceptable.

Description: Agencies are required to maintain documentation on convenience products, including processed USDA Foods, which describes their contribution to the meal components. Any crediting information received from the manufacturer, other than a valid CN label, should be checked by the agency for accuracy. The California Department of Education will present what to look for on a product formulation statement.
