Integrate knowledge, skills, and practices required for implementing FNS strategies for improving current FNS operations.
How to connect with your customer to increase student participation
Description: This interactive course is provided to support school foodservice operators better prepare for the changing needs, interests and demands of today's student customers by replicating and implementing innovative practices of top performing retail establishments. The course will cover strategies for: gathering student input and feedback (to guide improvement efforts), utilizing alternative points of sale, and enhancing cafeteria atmosphere-for increasing student meal consumption and participation. A concluding question and answer time slot will be made available to participants
