Objectives: Participants will be able to apply the strategies and concepts discussed during the training in their workplace.

Â LAUSD wants to share this new, fun and educational tool that teaches students lifelong, healthy eating habits, and encourages them to make a difference in their communities. Speaker Bio:
Selina Gordian is a Food Service Training Specialist with the Los Angeles Unified School District. Utilizing her skills and knowledge in the food service industry, Selina is determined to create fun and innovative ways to teach Food Service Managers, staff, and students about food safety and nutrition all while reinforcing State and Federal guidelines. Selina believes that using high energy and visual aids such as props and PowerPoint presentations brings a nontraditional approach to training that is appropriate and engaging for all ages.
