Speaker Bio:
Lynette Rock, RD, SNS has been in the school food service industry for over 30 years. She started her career as the Director of Food Service in a rural district with only two-schools. Since then she has worked in six districts of all sizes. She recently retired from Torrance Unified School District where she oversaw 31 sites.
Lynette is a past CSNA President and is currently consulting in other Districts to help them improve their operations.
Lynette is a member of both the California School Nutrition Association and School Nutrition Association and has been active in both the state and local school food service chapter. In addition she is a certified instructor of NAI Safe Food Service Management and is a trainer for the Child Nutrition Institute.
