Description: Most child nutrition programs aim to increase participation in their programs, but are forced to operate on a shoestring budget. Because of this, it's easy for districts to let their program's marketing efforts take a backseat to other important financial obligations. In this presentation, you'll learn why marketing is crucial for increasing participation and involvement with your program, and how to utilize free and inexpensive marketing tools: with both traditional and new media strategies: in order to better advertise all the great things you're doing in your program!
