Description: Visual tools like menu publishing and social media are great ways to increase participation in your school nutrition program. In order for these tools to be highly effective and appealing, you must have quality pictures. In this hands-on, workshop style presentation, you will learn tricks to improve your food photography skills so that your published menus, digital menu boards, and social media attract students to the lunch line. You will learn techniques using your smart phone, free editing apps, and materials that you probably already have on hand: no expensive, special equipment needed.
