Objectives: On this panel discussion, participants will be able to identify top nutrition trends and learn practical solutions to help change the perception of healthy eating overall and perceptions of school food.

This session is for everyone including muggles, Hufflepuff school foodservice, Ravenclaw vendors and Gryffindor partners. As the Ministry of Magic of Nutrition for Students, it is important to stay abreast of the latest food trends. You are invited to cross dimensions with us as we travel into the latest food movements of abundant food choices, plant-based diets, rapid changes in technology and Millennials'. Join your fellow Ministers of Magic of Nutrition for Students as they unlock the secrets on how they are traversing the complicated world of food trends to engage their school community in the powers of healthy eating with fiscal integrity.

Candice Sainz - Dairy Council of California
Speaker Bio:
With an insatiable appetite for new experiences, Candice Sainz travels across California and the country promoting nutrition education and school wellness. As Community Nutrition Adviser for Dairy Council of California, Ms. Sainz works with school foodservice staff, educators and community members to make the healthy choice the easy choice at school, in the community and even at home. Ms. Sainz holds a bachelor's degree in science from California State University, Fullerton and is a certified Smarter Lunchrooms Technical Advising Professional.

Tiffanie Bas, RDN - Anaheim Union High School District
Speaker Bio:
Tiffanie Bas is the Assistant Director of Food Services at Anaheim Union High School District, and currently serves as a member of the Food Service Management Advisory Committee at Orange Coast College. She was the Administrative Dietitian for Long Beach Unified School District's Nutrition Services Department and also served as the School Food Work Group Chair for the Long Beach Alliance for Food and Fitness. Tiffanie worked as a Nutrition Coordinator for the Network for a Healthy California and as a Food Services Consultant at Lawndale Elementary School District. As a Registered Dietitian, she earned her Bachelor of Science from California State University, Long Beach.

Parisa Mohammad, MDA, RD, SNS - Murrieta Valley Unified School District
Speaker Bio:
Parisa Mohammad is the Nutrition Specialist for Murrieta Valley Unified School District where she has successfully introduced marketing interventions inspired by Smarter Lunchrooms. She is a Registered Dietitian and holds a Master's degree in Dietetic Administration from Utah State University. In her spare time, she enjoys all things food, traveling and helping future Dietitians pass their RD exam.
