"Innovative Ways to Build Sales in your Cafeteria and Beyond!"Key Areas: Operations
Session: Session C - Saturday, November 12th: 8:45 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.
- Platinum 7
Speaker(s): Gayle Swain - Manager Non Commercial Markets West, Cambro
Gina Fero - Sales Manager , The Fischer Group
Objectives: Schools are overcrowded and many cafeterias lack the infrastructure in the kitchen and the seating area to feed thousands of students in their short lunch period. Session attendees will learn how to make the most of their equipment funding to purchase items that can have multiple uses in the kitchen and outside for mobile feeding or transportation. They will also learn ways to implement out of the box solutions to meet reimbursable meal requirements outside their main cafeteria.
Description: If I knew then what I know now! Selecting the right equipment is key to a successful foodservice operation. Come hear from fellow school nutrition professionals how they were able to build sales and increase revenue by selecting versatile equipment for use both inside and outside of the main feeding area. This panel discussion will incorporate stories from several districts as to how they met the challenges of quick service and increasing sales.
