Speaker Bio:
Mandeep Punia is a Nutrition Education Consultant with the California Department of Education (CDE) since 2010. She oversees projects related to assessing training needs of School Nutrition Program personnel, developing a training plan, and implementing the professional standards. She also works on promoting access to plant based meals in schools. A Registered Dietitian, she holds a Master of Science from University of California, Davis and a Bachelor of Science from California State University, Sacramento.
