Objectives: Describe the difference between "school lunch" and "lunch at school".
Identify market trends and focus efforts to create enjoyable dining experiences and increase participation in school meal programs.
Description: Are we allowing the public to define "school lunch" or are we telling our story of how wonderful lunch at school is these days? Join us as we refocus our efforts on the overall student dining experience (not just on calories, fat, salt & cost).

Speaker Bio:
Robert Schram is the director of child nutrition for the Clovis Unified School District; he has 37 years of food service experience. Twenty years in the private sector and seventeen years in school food service.

Speaker Bio:
Nancy Whalen has worked as a registered dietitian in school nutrition programs from coast to coast (Virginia Beach, Oakland and Clovis) for 15 years.
Before that she attended CSU, Fresno and Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

Kathy Riedel - Clovis Unified School District

Kathy Riedel has worked in school nutrition for past 29 years - currently a manager of 15 sites (~75 people)
Before that had her own tour company called "Mommy & Me Tours"!

Donna Coonce - Clovis Unified School District
Speaker Bio:
She has worked for Clovis Unified School District for the past 16 years. She currently ia a Supervisor of 8 sites, Preschool through High school. She also has a Medical Center. Before that she was a stay home Mom and worked a little in retail.
