Objectives: A better understanding of how forecasting quantities needed affects the manufacturers/distributors inventory supply and how improving accuracy will ultimately result in better bid pricing for the district.
Description: Develop a better understanding of how forecasting affects the supply chain and how improving the accuracy on bids will enable districts to receive better pricing as well as how co-op members can adopt a more effective bid strategy.

Speaker Bio:
Deby Henry is the current Commodity Account Specialist at AdvancePierre Foods. Deb has been with APF since 2006 in the commodity division. Over the years her duties have included, bids, State Participating Agreements, serving as a direct sales support source for the commodity portion of the foodservice department, doing training and presentation sessions with brokers, sales reps, schools, and distributors. She has worked closely with the company's sales team to ensure the districts are utilizing their commodity dollars in the best way possible and available to help resolve any issues that may occur during the school year.
Kathleen Coleman - Advance Pierre Foods
Speaker Bio:
Regional Sales Manager for 2 years for Advance Pierre Foods, responsible for all K-12 school business in CA. Also worked for Campbell's and Kraft prior to that. Been in the Industry 23 years.
