Description: PPL stands for the Public Policy and Legislative Committee for CSNA. Learn what the committee does, a basic overview of the legislative process and how to get involved in your chapter's PPL committee.

Speaker Bio:
Rene' Yamashiro is the Food Service Director at the Roseville City School District and manages the school nutrition program for over 17,000 students in two elementary school districts in Roseville.
She is a past president of the California School Nutrition Association (CSNA) and now for a 3rd term, Public Policy and Legislative Chair for CSNA.
She has been in the school nutrition business for over 23 years.
