Description: Intended to inspire and motivate front line food service employees and managers through simplified streamlined perimeters. This will be done though an overview of 5 main dishes, 4 seasons, school gardens/local produce and balancing commodity ingredients, importance of quality ingredients and equipment, simplified menu design, rotation of specials and a sample breakfast menu.

Speaker Bio:
I am a 1998 graduate of the Sonoma Valley Unified School District. Inspired by food service at a young age and was mentored by Elaine Bell, a leading caterer who created the industry of events in the Sonoma and Napa Co and is still one of the leaders in hospitality and catering for the greater Bay Area. Enrolled in the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY and received my AOS in Culinary Arts and BPS in Hospitality Management. Then spent the last 10 years in two corporate hotels, Fairmont and Plumpjack. Then married my wife (a teacher at SVUSD) and had our daughter. Now the Food Service Program manager back at SVUSD.
