Kathleen MaagSpeaker Bio:Kathleen Maag has been with the Utah State Board of Education Child Nutrition Programs for over 4 years. During her time at USBE, she has performed compliance reviews, communicated policy changes to USDA programs, and provided trainings on program regulations. Previous to her work at USBE, Kathleen used the child nutrition programs while running afterschool programs and gave her support to the program while she was an educator. She firmly believes that just like the kitchen is the heart of the home, the kitchen is the heart of the school where all children can fill their belly's and feel at home.
